JAYNE KHABENSKY // 30 // NAVY CORPSMAN // BISEXUAL // RESIDENT // JEREMY RENNER
Groaning as his eyes fluttered open, Jay closed them again when his head throbbed at the light hitting him square in the face. "Jesus.." He muttered to himself before squinting his eyes open, he tested his arms and found them chained to the chair he was sat in, the same could be said for his ankles when he tried moving his legs. "What the hell?" He asked into the darkness surrounding the light. He didn't expect to hear a chair scraping floor and he quickly looked over to where the sound came from, ignoring the dizzy spell it brought on.
"Mr. Khabensky, don't worry about where you are. Just answer our questions and you'll get home safe and sound, alright? Now, tell me your name, birthday, etc."
Figuring playing nice would get him out of here, Jay hide any fear he may have had and decided to talk normally, after all if they liked his answers he could get out of here. He didn't want to give them false information either, even if it did pass through his mind. Who knew what they would do since they could already know everything about him and this was just a test to see if he would lie. "Well my name is Jayne Anton Khabensky... yeah, stupid i know. I don't go by Jayne 'cause come on, it makes me sound like a chick." He said with a sigh. "Instead i go by Jay and Bullet or Doc from my buddies in the marines, there is a reason for that name but i really don't care to share." He shrugged a shoulder as he glared into the darkness, he really didn't want to share but there was no way he couldn't. "My birthday is February fourteenth. Yeah, ha ha, valentines day. It's really not that cool nor comical." There were times when he really hated the day his birthday landed on, while everyone else was celebrating being with each other he was normally sat at home during the day and out at night finding someone to sleep with for the night, he really wasn't picky if they were male or female. If he was on base then normally his pals did something fun with him, but other than that he hated it. "I bet you wanna know what i do as well huh? Well i'm an active navy corpsman in the Navy and United States Marine Corps, i have a team and everything, although i'm their devil doc. I've not long gotten back from a tour but i could be recalled back along with my team mates at a drop of a hat." He really missed his team mates sometimes, being scattered across the country and all. But then again he figured they would always see each other again when they were deployed, as well as random holidays to see each other, they also regularly met up for paint ball games to keep themselves sharp. "I guess i could tell you i'm bisexual, growing up i used to think i was plain up gay. Having no interest in chicks, but now? I really don't care who gets in my bed with me, so long as it's a good time." He figured they would know that, if they had a file on him. It's not like he hid the fact he took men and women home, after all anyone at a bar or a club would see him getting up close and personal with these people."
"Good, thank you for choosing to give us the information we need, although i figure you already know we know a hell of a lot about you." The female voice gave a chuckle as heels clicked along the ground. "So then, Jayne, tell us where you're from, how many people do you know here?"
Still squinting into the light, Jay growled slightly at the knowledge that she did have information on him. Just how much though and how the hell had she managed to get it, and him? Last he remembered he was in that nightclub getting to know a hot guys mouth intimately. It made him angry to know he had let this happen, he knew how to stop this shit from happening! "As you can tell from my name i'm not from America, well... i could have been but i wasn't. I was born in Moscow, Russia. I have to say i really enjoyed it there for the few years i stayed, but it really has nothing on America." He forced a small smile as he thought about his hometown, it had been such a long time since he'd been there. "You wanna know about the people i know in this god forsaken city? I don't really know anyone because i'm away pretty much all of the time, however my parents and little sister live here. My sister actually met her husband in LA but i think he's a bit of a douche." He shook his head as he said this. He loved his little sister to bits, he would go to jail for her if she needed it but he did not like the piece of garbage she had chosen to marry, he was sure the guy was a criminal but his sister wouldn't hear what he had to say. Instead she turned a blind eye and made their parents tell him off. "My parents are lovely folk, they do miss ole Mother Russia. I have a feeling they may move back there soon despite me and Claudia being here. I wouldn't blame them either, they've never been happy in this country." He smiled as he remembered his parents constantly complaining when he was a kid, how they moved here for his fathers work but had never moved back to Russia when they could. "Other than that, it's just my neighbours i know."
"Again, we thank you for your cooperation. That is some good intel to know, we knew you were from Russia but we didn't know quite where from. I'll be sure to add that little piece of information to our database." The heels stopped clicking to his left before resuming along behind the light. "As you know we have your background about you but we just need a few more details. So, tell me about your childhood and growing up."
Moving his head to see if he could see her when she had stopped moving, all Jay could see was her outline and he growled a little to himself. "Fine, i'll tell you about my childhood, but i doubt you're missing information. You seem to have plenty on hand already." He growled out into the darkness. "Like i said i was born in Russia, i was my parents first kid and they didn't really know how to deal with me and what with them being rich and all they bought a nanny to look after me. I was about three when Claudia came on the scene and i loved the little tyke. See, my parents never really let us out of the estate. We had a lot of ground we could play on and even our own park with a pond and fish but we were kids ya know? We needed friends!" Sighing when he remembered the large estate his parents had back in Russia, he realised how much he really had hated that place, it had felt like a prison to a little child. "Now, i was a normal kid, i played, i ate worms and got muddy. I hated baths and was a picky eater but i soon grew up. I think i was about seven when we moved. The first i knew of it was coming home from school to find all my things had been packed." Remembering the moment that he had gone to his bedroom to play and had found everything boxed up.
"I played up a lot when we moved here, since they'd moved into an actual house and not an estate so i wasn't used to how small it was, how much stuff i needed to get rid of. I'll tell ya, i was a horror!" Jay laughed, he had really made his parents life a living hell when they had first moved here. "I got used to it though, i actually began to prefer it since i made friends in the neighbourhood and was able to stay over at their houses. It was lucky that i had been learning English back in Russia, so i wasn't completely lost." He said, frowning as he remembered his first language barrier problem. "I grew up a happy kid, nothing special or amazing happened. It was just after i left high school i joined up, i joined the navy despite my parents telling me not to, they even threatened to disown me... but they didn't, cause come on. I'm their only son, my father is too happy to have a child that will continue to bare his name, unlike Claudia who is now a Rothchild instead of a Khabensky." He grinned at that, his father had gone skitso when he had learnt that his daughter was taking on her husbands name, it had always ticked at Jay at the sheer fact of the measures his father would take to make sure the name was carried on. "It took me a long time before i was ready to join into a marine team, a fair few years actually. I think i was about twenty-four before i joined the team i'm on now. I became their devil doc and they tease me endlessly but they are mighty protective. After all if the doc gets shot whose gonna patch you up?" He said the line his brothers in arms tended to say all the time. The amount of times he had needed to patch them up after they covered his sorry ass in the field, although there had been that one time that the bullet had still managed to find it's way into his chest. He had nearly died, having to tell the men what needed done before he passed out. Besides that though he had the normal scars from stray bullet grazes and childhood falls. "I would protect those men with my life, i would seriously die for them if it meant them living." He muttered mostly to himself, momenterily forgetting about the woman as he thought to all the missions he had his team had been on, how many times some of them had nearly died if it hadn't been for him. "I remember once, Josh was down and we were under some pretty heavy fire but despite that i ran to him, i needed to help him. I have a scar on the back of my neck from a bullet as i ran to him." Jay chuckled, he was still amazed he and the boys had managed to live as long as they had already.
A soft chuckle was heard from behind Jay before fingers brushed the back of his neck, feeling the scar there before retreating and the heels clicking away again. "That's good information, but you're right, we knew all that anyway. You are a smart man, to one, not lie to us and two figure out we knew everything anyway? Very smart." another chuckle was heard again from in front of him, behind the light yet again. "Describe how others would describe you. I already know how i would describe you Mr. Khabensky."
Jay shuddered where he sat when he felt the touch, he had heard her back there but he did not appreciate being touched by someone he could not see. "My friends would probably tell you that i'm flirty, funny, trustworthy, loyal, protective, caring and all kinds of other things." He looked up as he thought, he really didn't know how his friends would describe him, for he was everything he had told her, he chatted up pretty much any single person who looked good but at the same time he wasn't some whore who liked to go around and sleep with everything, he flirted because he liked it, he didn't see the harm in harmless flirting between two single people. "They'll probably tell you i'm pretty silly since i like to make silly faces and tell jokes i find on the internet randomly. I do get pretty down, like i can get really depressed and damn depressing at the same time." He really hated it when he got into one of them moods, it could take a heck of lot to get him back to normal but it was normally when he had a nightmare the night before or if he didn't get enough sleep that he would get down. "Other than that, i have no idea what they'd say about me."
"Yes that is about right." The woman muttered to herself, obviously looking at something or remembering files. "Okay, how is your relationship with you're family? Not like i need the information refreshed, this part was rather juicy."
Gritting his teeth, Jay started to talk. His changeable eyes still scanning the room where he could hear the heels clicking. "I feel me and my sister are close, despite our arguments about her husband we meet several times a week when i'm home for a coffee, when i'm deployed then we'll write to each other. We have always been close and i look after her as much as i can, but now with her being pregnant and all there's a little distance between us." Jay's face transformed into one of anger. "That little pig she got with doesn't want me near her while she's pregnant, his excuse his one of our arguments could make her lose the baby, that i'd stress her out too much. It's a lot of BS, i love my sister and she loves me, i'd never to anything to hurt her or my future niece or nephew."
"Out of my parents i'm closest to my mother, what with her being a caring woman who just loves to cook and feed you up if you tell her you haven't eaten properly." Jay's anger slowly diminished as he thought about how when he went to his parents his mother would often sit him at the table and cook him a meal, regardless of the time. "She's a lovely woman, she's so bubbly and full of life even though she's coming up for sixty. I often take her out to shows because she likes that, but i'll write her all the time when i'm away." Jay said, he really did adore the woman, despite her not having much to do in his early life she had really been around when they had moved to this country, she had spoiled them and did everything she should have years before. she had made an effort, unlike his father.
The voice got silkier and lower as the woman asked the next question, having stopped moving to look at the corpsman. "Alright Jay, you're being a good man. Tell me about your love life, how is it going? Getting laid a lot?"
"Actually it's not going so good, i mean i've just got back from a tour and i had no girlfriend or boyfriend before hand, i don't have one now. All i can really do is get out to the clubs and meet some peeps. That or fate will be really nice to me and let me bump into that special someone while i'm on a bus, or in the supermarket. I really don't know what's happening there but now i'm back i plan to do a lot of finding people to enjoy." He knew he made himself sound a little crappy, but he really was looking forward to getting back out there, some of his one night stands and himself had become somewhat good friends, so he didn't really see a problem with his habits. Sure he wanted to get married one day whether it be to a male or a female, maybe have kids or adopt even if his father would die if he didn't pass on the Khabensky genes one day. Jay really wanted to see how his father would react to that, after all he was already going to get a grandchild soon. "But saying that i'm sure i would have got laid last night if it weren't for you fucking that up."
"Well Mr. Khabensky, that was all we needed from you. I am sorry about ruining your potential lay last night. My bad." The heels stopped clicking behind the man again and there was a faint smell of chloroform before a piece of cloth was pushed against his nose and mouth. It didn't take long for it to take affect and for him to slump in the seat. "Get him out of here, make him forget this happened at all and send the next one in."
"Mr. Khabensky, don't worry about where you are. Just answer our questions and you'll get home safe and sound, alright? Now, tell me your name, birthday, etc."
