it's gotta feel right feel right every time you want and there's
no point in letting yourself down when your back's against the wall i left you all that room t
He had woken up this morning with a small sense of excitement. He had made a friend, or at least he hoped that she would be a friend, and he was seeing her today. It wasn't until after he had finished up at work, but even then he had plans with a friend and that was very exciting for him. No, he didn't have too many friends, he did his best to stay away from most, but he thought that he'd give her a go, or really give himself a go at friendship with someone that he hadn't known for years upon years. He had met her a few days earlier, Ferris she called herself or really her parents had called her, odd name yes but different was good, usually anyway. In his joy he had almost forgotten to get ready for work, but that was okay it rarely took him any longer than five minutes to be ready. A quick brush of the teeth, a comb of the hair and slipping into the clothes that he saw as work clothing for the day, a pair of dark jeans coupled with a medium grey long sleeved sweater, he'd roll the sleeves up while he was working, he didn't want anything to get on them. He quickly slipped his arms into the leather riding jacket that he had got for a bargain a few months back and gathered his things before rushing out the door, down the stairs and to his bike that he had parked out the front of his apartment building. He loved that damn thing, his bike was his baby and if anyone messed with it then they messed with him and that wasn't a fun thing to do, more often than not anyway.
He pulled into a side street near the cafe where he worked, the side street where he always parked while he was working. He always had that thought in the back of his mind causing him to worry about the safety of his only vehicle, but so far nothing bad had happened to it, plus it was really the only place he could legally park while he was working and he wasn't willing to deal with a fine just to park in a more visible location. He rushed into the cafe, dumped his valuables under the counter and took note of the time so that he could ensure that he was paid from the moment he began work to the moment he finished. The day was supposed to be busy, at least during his shift it was anyway. He hated this shift, but he always seemed to get it and he's work it anyway, no matter how bad it got he'd push through because he knew that he needed this job and well, if he lost it he'd more than likely lose everything that he had worked hard for over the passed few years. The shift went fairly quick, there were a few difficult customers and some even more so difficult orders that he had to fill, but when he looked at the clock and it was nearing the end of his shift a feeling of relief fell over him, almost done. His eyes glanced up at the sound of the door and a smile formed on his lips as they fell on the very girl that he was spending time with. Taking a quick glance around he located his boss and asked if he could have a few early minutes. The man was fine with it so Levi made note of the time once more and grabbed his things from under the counter, finding his way to where Ferris had sat. "Hey." He said as he took the seat across from her, placing his jacket on the ground next to his chair and his wallet, phone and keys on the table in front of him.
