JANUARY SIXTH NINETEEN NINETY
A screaming baby could be heard in a Moscow hospital. She had just been born and was tasting air for the first time in her life. It seemed as if she was terrified, but weren't you when you first came into this world? She was wrapped in a towel and handed over to the dark haired woman that was her mother, the woman looked down at her and smiled, whispering her name to her as she comforted the baby, who stopped crying and stared back up at her mother. Anna, she whispered before handing the baby girl back to the nurse who took her to be cleaned and put with the other babies.
JUNE EIGHTEENTH NINETEEN NINETY FOUR
The screeching of tires and the sound of metal bending and breaking was heard within a radius of a few blocks in down town Moscow. Screams and shouts were added to the mix within a few seconds. Soon there were siren sounds, but the yelling continued. There were emergency vehicles on the scene within minutes, working together to rescue the small child and her mother from the wreckage. After an hour they had successfully gotten both of them out of the wreckage, they were the only survivors, also they were the only people in said wreckage. This was odd as there were two cars. The police questioned as many witnesses as they could and one reported that a man climbed out of the other car and ran off, leaving the scene with quite some speed. The police tried to track him down but failed. The girl and her mother were taken to the hospital to recover from the accident. The mother was the most injured, the other car had hit theirs on her door and it was a miracle that she was still alive.
JUNE NINETEENTH NINETEEN NINETY FOUR
A man entered the room, he had scanned the hall and the room before approaching the bed. The woman on the bed was asleep, who could blame her after what she had been through, she had endured a car accident and had suffered some rather severe injuries. He took another look around the room, a small smirk came to his face as he reached for a pillow that was sitting off to the side. He gripped it and then pushed it down hard on the woman's face. A minute later he walked out of the room and exited the hospital in a rather fast fashion.
DECEMBER TWENTY FIFTH NINETEEN NINETY FOUR
Almost five and she was already spending Christmases alone, well technically not alone as she was with other children who had nowhere else to go. She sat in the corner of the room, not wanting to talk to anyone, she was a shy child and kept to herself all of the time, at least she had since the accident. The orphanage had gotten the children presents, they had done their best with the small amount of money that they had to do such things. But Anna didn't want one, all she wanted was her mother back. They had told her that she had died in the accident, but she remembered people telling her that her mother was going to be alright, that she was resting and then she would be able to see her. At the time her arm had been bandaged up and she was told to stay in bed unless someone said different. She continued to sit in the corner and exclude herself from all the things that were happening in the center of the room, she didn't want any part of it.
FEBRUARY THIRTEENTH TWENTY OH FIVE
She was done, she was leaving this damned place. She was done with not having a mother, or a father, or an anything. She had friends, yes, but that wasn't what she wanted. She had planned it all out, she would wait until it was in the dead of night and she would climb out her window and make off down the road, get to the nearest train station and make a new life for herself. She didn't quite make it there when she was almost knocked over by a man running at what she assumed was his top speed. She heard more footsteps coming from the same direction that the man had come, who was now hiding behind a nearby car. She stayed on the ground in an attempt to hide herself from the second person, this other person stopped near her and pulled out a gun, she gasped and he heard her. He looked down and a grin formed on his lips, he said something vulgar and disgusting and she kicked him, right in the kneecap, causing him to fall over in pain. As he did so he managed to hit his head on a rock and was knocked out cold. She got up from the ground and called out to the man who was hiding. Confused, he came out from behind the car to face her, a shocked look on his face when he saw her. She was just a kid, yet she had taken out this fully grown man who was ready to kill him, and her. She went with him that night.
FEBRUARY TWENTIETH TWENTY OH FIVE
Anna Pavlov walked out of the place that she had called her home for far too long. The papers were signed and everything was official, she had a family now. It wasn't the family that she wanted, that one wasn't possible to find, but it was a family and she already knew the father pretty well, she had saved his life after all. They stopped to get ice cream on the way to her new home, which she enjoyed. She could tell that this family thing was going to suit her well.
APRIL SEVENTH TWENTY OH SEVEN
The plane ride was exhausting, which made no sense at all since they were all sitting the whole time. No-one could wait until they got to their new home in Los Angeles. It was a nice house, four bedrooms all filled with their five person family. This was the start of something new, something that they were all going to enjoy. They were all close, all the kids and even the parents and the kids, despite their teen rebelliousness. This was the very first time that Anna had been in the states and she was looking out the windows eagerly looking at everything they passed on the drive. But as soon as they got to the house and she found her bed she was out, tired and exhausted.
NOVEMBER TWENTY SIXTH TWENTY THIRTEEN
Detective Pavlov, it certainly had a nice ring to it. The moment she had gotten the promotion she had grinned, and then she was told off for grinning. She was rather young to be promoted to detective, but she had done so well in her first year on the force that the boss decided to make her a detective. It was strange really, that she was promoted so quickly, and she knew that there were officers that weren't too happy about it. It wasn't going to stop her though, nothing was going to stop her from doing her job properly and showing the world that she was worth the promotion.
